The conditions were not of the best, as a shower made th& track somewhat greasy, and the motor skidded at the corners. Moreover, the motor gave out, and stopped half a-lap from home. Notwithstanding this, Donald covered the two miles in 3m 28 4-sb, the first mile being covered in lm 38 4-ss. The motor had a wind-shield fixed.
