FAREWELL ENTERTAINMKNT.
Ottawa. December 30. A i'hii.drkn's fancy drew ball was given at Government House to-night by the Duke and Duchess of Connaught. It will probably be the last entertainment of the kind given by the Governor-General before leaving Canada. The Duchess of Connaught made her first appeal anre at the ball since her return from I/Mldon, where she was recently operated upon.
