The itinerary will probably include New Zealand. It is expected that he will .arrive here early in December. "I . met Duke on my way home from America, says a correspondent, " and have never met a finer follow. He is 23 years of age>, a fine stamp of an athlete, and he never smokes nor drinks. He is a very smart fellow, and is a draughtsman in the Public Works Department. He has already refused an offer of 50,000 dollars (£10,000) to turn professional. The offer ■was made by a gentleman who wanted to take him on a world's tour. Apart from his svfirnming, the champion is a marvel } in the surf.
