ACCIDENTS AT AVONDALE.

i Thehe were several accidents at Avonl dale on Saturday. In the first event—the Kingsland Hurdles—the racehorse Rouge ' Dragoon fell, and his rider, C. Scott, had one of his'arms broken. Later in the day Heyboy came to grief in the steeplechase, when his pilot, W. McKinnon, sustained injuries which necessitated his removal by ambulance to the hospital. Both sufferers were attended, to by Dr. Shar- ■ man. In the last race Tamainupo fell, . but his rider (J. Stockley) got off with :' a shaking. I B-g-5
