MR. KEIR HARDIE'S OPINION

SIR E. GREY AS PREMIER.

Times-Sydney Sun Special Cable. (Received August 26, 6.40 p.m.) Zurich, August 25. In an interview to-day, Mr. Keir Hardie (chairman of the Labour Party in the House of Commons), declared that women would gain the vote after the next general election. The new House would adhere to the principles of woman suffrage. The present House, he said, was favourable, but Mr. Asquith opposed any discussion on the matter.

The speaker added .that Mr. Asquith was not likely to continue as Premier. Sir Edward Grey would succeed him.
