DEATH FROM EXPOSURE.
EBROB OF JUDGMENT. JBT T2LH3EAPH. ASSOCIATION.] Diwbdin, Wednesday. A EZOjttETTABLE feature in connection with the death of George Allen, an insurance agent, was disclosed by the inquest today. The body was found on St. Clair beach on Saturday. An officer in a temperance lodge gave evidence that on the previous afternoon he saw the man, apparently under the influence of liquor, and tried hard to rouse bin, but failed. After finding his insurance papers he reported the man's condition to the company err»cerned, but no further action was taken, and Allen was found dead 24 hours later. A verdict was returned that death was due to cold and exposure, the coroner remarking that there had been an unfortunate error of judgment on the part of the witness who found him under the influence of liquor.
