WORLD'S SMALLEST BABY.
WEIGHT Ilb lloz, HEIGHT 6^ix. American - interest to-day is focuesed upon the diminutive proportions of Russei Dailey, 12-day-old son of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Dailey, of Philadelphia. His present weight is just lib lloz, and his length 6|in. In all other respects the baby is described as perfectly normal, and, barring accidents, should thrive. Russei was placed in an incubator a few days ago, and will not secure release for several weeks. Bulletins are issued every day regarding his condition, and are reproduced all over the country. So tiny is this dainty morsel of humanity that an ordinary napkinring may easily be slipped over his head, and a linger-ring of ordinary size will encircle his limbs. Ho is gaining weight at the rate of 20 grains a day. and medical men compute that at the end of the year, if Providence spares the mite, he should weigh at least 21b lOoz. The mother of the baby is not yet 16. She weighs less than 1001b, and is sft 2in in height. Tho father is not yet 17, and belongs also to the feather-weight class.
