THE BRISBANE STRIKE.
MEN URGED TO FIGHT ON. By Tcleeraph.—rre«» Association.— (Received February 26, 12.23 R.xa.) Brisbane, January 25. Mb. Cotxi:, chairman of Iho Strike Committee, in addressing the stalkers* said funds were coming from all parts of the 1 Commonwealth. He urged them to fight on. The Employers' Federation reports that large numbers of strikers are applying for work. The federation proposes to open a free labour bureau oil Tuesday; The Queensland Government has completed negotiations for the supply of a large quantity of coal from japan ; Sydney, February 24. The secretary of the Labour Council has forwarded an additional £300 to the Brisbane strike fund.
