FLEETS OF THE DOMINIONS. • SATISFACTORY ARRANGEMENTS. CO-OPERATION IN WAR TIME. By Telegraph.— Association.—Copyright (Received June 15, 12.20 a.m.) London, June 14. Mr. R. McKenna (First Lord of the Admiralty), speaking at Pontypool last night, said that the naval arrangements made with the Dominions were most satisfactory.
If the Overseas Dominions developed Herts of their own the interchange of officers and men and common standards of training and discipline would enable the joint fleets to act in complete union in the event of war. The Imperial Conference had laid foundations of naval strength which would safeguard Imperial interests in every quarter of the globe.
