WAIHI YOUTHS' ESCAPADE.

[by telegraph.—-own correspondent.] ' Waihi, Wednesday. Three Waihi 'youths, who set out on a bushranging expedition on Monday night, were run to earth by tho" police last night, and returned the wiser and sadder for their experience. Breaking into the dwelling of an absent settler, they annexed firearms and provisions, and set out for tho bush, where they had a sorry time, owing to the bitter cold and drenching rain. Yesterday their provisions became practically exhausted, and not inclined for a repetition of the overnight's ftxperienco they made for homo when darkness approached, only to fall into the hands of tho police.
