I said, 'I thought you did not speak English,' and he admitted* he did. A little later they wero discussing different revolvers, and each ono took out, his to show it. 'Hie table was just a mass of guns. Franco hold his out to mo and said in a quiet voice, ' I shot, two men with this at. Gtiadelupo last night.' It was quite true, as wo wero told about it before. Well, we had a jolly dinner even though the guests wero cut throats." .
