■HIS MAJESTY'S THEATRE. "Right is Micnr," which is being p„ 4 sen ted at His Majesty's Theatre by Mr. Wm. Anderson's Roberts-Day Company is proving a big success, and the progress of the drama, was followed with keen interest by a. large audience last night., 'l'ho drama- will be repeated this evening. OPERA 110 L'sn-:. Dan, the clever canine, and his four, footed companions in their one-act pantomine " A Hot Time in Dogville," provided great entertainment to the audience at tlio Opera House last evening. This afternoon a matinee will be held, and the dogs will again contribute to the evening's entertainment. WEST'S PICTURES. Pictures have evidently considerable attractiveness for country visitors, as evidenced by the large numbers who havo attended the Royal Albert Hall during the Show week. Peach-growing in Can. Ada is a film of great interest to horticulturists and those interested in fruit trade generally. The other subjects screened, both grave and gay, provide considerable amusement and entertainment. A matinee will be given to-morrow afternoon at 2.30. FULLER'S PICTURES. The excellent programme of moving pictures screened at the King's Theatre met ■with an excellent reception last night, The usual matinee will be held this afternoon, and the programme will bo repeated this evening. BUCKINGHAM'S PICTURES. There was a fair audience at Bucking* ha.m's Picture Palace last, evening. This afternoon will witness the usual change of programme, and the pictures to be screened are of a varied nature. The programme will be repeated in the evening. "WHY MEN LOVE WOMEN." Even in melodrama we look for something humanly possible. This is promised in " Why Men Love Women," described as Walter Howard's latest and greatest drama, which is to be produced at His Majesty's Theatre on Saturday next, June 3. "Why Men Lovo .Women"-ran for many months in the Lyceum Theatre, London, and is now being played in the provinces of England by several special companies. Messrs. Clarke and Meynell, who hold the sole Australasian rights, recently produced the play at the Palace Theatre, Sydney, where it proved 'a great success. The company includes .Miss Frances Ross, who will be remembered as leading lady with the late Bland Holt Company. " Mr. Conway inglield, Mr. Hilliard Vox, Mr. Fred.. Cambourne, and Miss Muriel Dale. The box plan opens at Wildman and Arey's on Thursday next, at 9 a.m.

ROYAL ROLLER RINK. In spite of mi propitious weather iha Royal Roller Rink was well patronised yesterday, and the usual sessions will be open to-day. One of Iho greatest roller skating spectacles ever held in Auckland is promised for Tuesday night, when the costume carnival of the present season,will be held. The management is putting forth even* ellort to make the carnival a-success. Handsome and valuable prizes are being offered. The rink will be beautifully decorated and brilliantly lighted for the occasion, and the orchestra- also has been augmented for carnival night-. Included m the evening's programme is an exhibition of scientific and fancy skating by.Professor Irving. Another item will be (ho Koya' grand parade, during which a tlashlig 1 photograph will be taken. Ihe seating accommodation has been increased in anticipation of a large attendance. WINDSOR I?INK. The popularity of the Windsor skating rink continues unabated, and in s P' le ,°j the wet weather a good number attended at the various sessions yesterday.
