NEW SERIAL STORY.
"ANTON OP THE ALPS."
Publication* is commenced, in our literary supplement. to-day, of a splendid now serial story entitled "Anton of tho Alps." It is from the pen of W. Victor Cook, -who is well-known in England as a writer of graphic and interesting stories set in scenes in tho out-of-the-way places of the earth's surface, and tho whole narrative is one of absorbing interest. Under the spell of the author's brilliant descriptive power tho reader will see a succession of fine pictures, and the dramatic incidents that occur amongst the high mountains will fascinate the attention of young and old. There is a charming love theme running through tho etory, and the principal characters are powerfully drawn. The story will appear on Saturdays and Wednesdays till the conclusion.
