DRIVEN OFF WITH REVOLVER.

One of the competitors, an airman named Gilbert, was flying towards the Pyrenees, when an eagle suddenly swooped down on him.

Gilbert was fortunately armed with a revolver, and firing two shots, drove the eagle off.
