A WOMAN'S SUICIDE

[BY TELEGRAPH.—PRESS ASSOCIATION.] Wanganui, Friday. An inquest was held to-day into the circumstances surrounding the death of Mrs. Melville, the woman who disappeared from her home at Eastown on Saturday, and whose body was found in the river on Thursday three miles from town. The evidence was such as to justify the Coroner in returning a verdict to the effect that the woman committed suicide by drowning whilst of unsound miad.
