THE IRISH ENVOYS.

Wellington, Friday. Mr. Donovan, one of the Irish envoys, telegraphed if) Mr. Martin Kennedy today, stating that the meeting at Christchurch last night was most enthusiastic, and about £250 was collected. The envoys return to Wellington on Sunday morning. On Monday they will be entertained at a garden party, on Tuesday thoy speak at Taihape, and on Wednesday at Ohakune, arriving in Auckland on June 1, and addressing their first meeting there on the following day. They will speak in various parts of the Auckland ilia trict, and then complete their itinerary in the South Island. They leave Wellington for Home early in July.
