MAGISTRATE'S COURT.

The majority of the maintenance cases called at the Magistrate's Court yesterday, before Mr. Kettle, S.M., wore adjourned in the hope that amicable settlements may be arrived at. On the application of Mrs. Cyril Rowo, a separation order was made, and the husband was ordered to contribute £1 per week towards his wife's support. A man named .Robert Gibb, who did not. appear, was convicted and sentenced to one month's imprisonment for disobedience of a maintenance order, lite warrant to be suspended ' for seven days. Wm. Henry Saunders, who' had paid arrears under a maintenance, order into Court, was convicted' and fined 10s for disobedience of order.
