AUCKLAND UNIVERSITY COLLEGE.

: MUSIC EXAMINATION RESULTS.

The results of the half-yearly examinations in theoretical and practical music, ■which took place in May last at the University College, are now to hand. All grades were, represented except the Senior Theory, and more entries were received ' than formerly. An alteration in the system of marking was adopted showing "honours, and first and second classes, in , all grades. A report of each perform- : ance of the candidate, giving a, detailed "account of the various parts of the examination, minting out faults, and in the case of failures allowing any weaknesses that arose, can be obtained from the registrar at "a small cost, and it is hoped that this system will be beneficial to the teachers as well as .the candidates.
