London, May 24. The Imperial preference campaign, inaugurated at Manchester, was continued in the Albert Hall last night, Lord Selborne presiding.

Mr. Joseph Chamberlain, in a message, urged the acceptance of the offer of the Dominions while there was yet time. Mr. Balfour predicted serious difficulties from the working of the most-favoured-nation treaties, unless our existing fiscal system was altered.
