Presiding at the annual meeting of the Scottish Australian Investment Company Mr. Rait said the Federal land tax was unconstitutional and illogical, and bound to fail, and the British Australasian Society intended to protest against the Royal assent being given. Even if that were given the legal question remained to be fought.
