IS BELLE ELMORE DEAD?

More people are coming forward with the declaration that Belle Elmore, the professional name by which Crippen's wife was known, is still alive. On top of the

announcement of a Philadelphia lawyer that he has received letters from persons who have seen Mrs. Crippen, comes that of a Chicago attorney, who asserts that he has strong proofs that the woman is alive. Another Chicago man, a wrestling promotor, also avers that Belle Elmore is still in the flesh.
