The stealer Turkistan • sails this morning lor ■Wellington, Lvttelton, and, I>une<lin. Tho barquentine Hanilft Isle arrived at Sydney on Thursday last, from the Thames. Tho Tfser liner Nerehana, now loading at East Coast ports, is due sit this port on November 28, to load for London. She sails finally from the Dominion about December 12. The s.s. Whangapo now leaves for West port direct on Tuesday morning next. Tho S.B. Houpiri is due at Napier on Monday, and sails on Tuesday for East Coast bays and Auckland. . . ~ , , „„ The s.s. THE MONOWAI. The Union Company's steamer Monowal, from I!unedin and East Coast ports, is due a-- this jioi-t to-morrow morning, and on arrival will berth at the Railway Wharf

THE MAHKNO. The Union Company's steamer Maheno. which left Svdnev at 3* pan on Wednesday last for Auckland direct. :s duo here to-morrow morning. She has 205 j>assengers anil 11j0. tons or cargo to land at this port, and on arrival will berth at the Queen-street- Wharf.

tfHE PAPAROA. The New Zealand Shipping Company's steamer Paparoa left. Dunedi-i oil Thursday evening for Auckland direct. She. is due here to-morrow afternoon, and will load general cargo for l*>ndon from the 21st irst. to November 26. after which she proceeds South to complete.

THE MIMIRO. The Tyser liner Mimiro left Sydney on Thursday evening last for Auckland direct, in continuation of her voyage from London. She is due hero on Tuesday next, and has 2600 tons of cargo to discharge at this port.

THE MAITAI. The Union Company's R.M.S. Maitai arrived from Wellington at 11 a.m. yesterday, berthing at the Oueen-street Wharf. She left Wellington on the evening of November 16. and experienced fine weather, with light variable winds, throughout the passage. A description of the vessel s overhaul and improvements have already _ appeared in the Herald. She is timed to sail at noon to-day for San Francisco, via Rarotongll and Papeete, and is due at the Californinn port On December 9.

THE MONGOLIA. Messrs. Russell and Somers, the local agents for the P. and O. line, are advised that the R.M.S. Mongolia will leave Sydney to day, in continuation of her voyr-ge from London to Auckland, and should arrive here.on Wednesday morning next. The Mongolia will remain in port, until 4 p.m. on Thursday, when she leaves on the. return trip to London, via Australia and Suez. •

NAVUA ARRIVES. The Union Company's steamer Navua, Captain Mcßride, arrived from the Cook and Society Islands early yesterday morning, and berthed at the Hobson-street Whatf. The vessel left Auckland on October 25, and arrived at Rarotonga on October 31, leaving the same day for Papeete, via Lniatea. She left Papeete at 5 p.m. on November 5 for Rarotonga, via the various cut-tying islands, and finally departed from it arj tonga at 2 p.m. on November 12, arriving as above, after experiencing strong head winds, with heavy swell, until arrival at Rarotonga, thence fine weather, with smooth seas, to arrival. The Navua is fixed to sail for Fiji at 2 p.m. on Wednesday next-, her place in the Itarotonga and Papeete run being taken by the Taiune, leaving here on Tuesday next.

THE WARSHIPS. H.M. ships Powerful. Encounter, And Cambrian are at Wellington. H.M.S. Prometheus is now ait Sydney." The flagship, it is understood, is to spend about two months in New Zealand waters, visiting Milford Sound, Wellington, Nelson, Lyttelton, Napier, and Auckland. Hobart will then be visited, and a return made to Sydney, where Admiral G. F. King-Hall will relieve Adm'ral Sir Richard Poore.
