I hereby give notice that a Poll of the Ratepayers of the City of Auckland will be taken at the Polling Booths hereinafter mentioned on WEDNESDAY, the Twentieth Day of April, 1910. between the hours of 9 a.m. and 7 p.m. upon the following proposal of the Mavor, Councillors, and Citizens of the City of Auckland, to wit:— the purpose of enabling the Mayor, Councillors, and Citizens of the City of Auckland to provide tho necessary funds for the extension of and addition to the Electric Power Plant for the Citv of Auckland, now installed or in process of installation, and the acquisition of New Sites for a new and larger Electric Power Station and Sub-stations, the Erection of such Station and Sub-stations, and the Laying of new and additional Feeder Wires, Distributers, and Service Mains in connection with such Plant, Station, and Sub-sta-tions: to Borrow a sum of £225,000 upon the security of the already existing Electric Power Plant and the extensions thereof and additions thereto and new sites and buildings when installed, acquired, and constructed, and the revenues derivable therefrom (subject to the payment out of such revenues of all expenses rtf working such plant) and the revenues of the City of Auckland (subject to the existing loans chargeable or secured on such respective revenues and property); and to make such Loan_ repayable in twentyone rears, and to ma"<e Provision for the Payment of a Sinking Fund of £} ner cent. per annum, and to nay out of the Loan the cost, of Raising the Loan and the Interest on such Loan for the first year.
