Tho Pitt and Edwin Streets' Primitive Methodist Sunday-school anniversary has been celebrated during the week. On Sunday last the preachers were Rev. J. Cocker in the morning, Mr. Emerson in the afternoon, and Rev. 11. Foston at night. Special singing was rendered by the scholars, under Mr. G. H. Mason, assisted by friends. The annual soiree was held on r Tuesday evening, followed by a public meeting, under tho chairmanship of Mr. J. Watkinson. Addresses were delivered by the circuit ministers.
