The fol- ' lowing is the result of the trial fours:— heat: P.': O'Gormaft (stroke). Smith's, Bach's, and Donkin's crews also started. ." Second; heat: H. Harper (stroke). Gillies', E. Stone's, and T. ' Stone's crews also started. Third heat: N. Elliott (stroke). Harris', Alpe's, and Parker's crews also ' started. The final was on by H.Harper .; (stroke), A. Spencer (3), O. : Scott (2), E.
