PROPOSED LOAN OF £225,000, 'FOR THE EXTENSION OF THE ELECTRIC POWER UNDERTAKING IN THE CITY OF AUCKLAND. The Mayor, Councillors, and Citizens of the City of Auckland hereby gives notice. 1. That the particular purpose for which the Loan is required is the extension of and addition to the Eleotric Power Plant for the City of Auckland now installed or in process of installation, and tho acquisition of new sites for a new and larger Electric Power Station and sub-stations, the erection of such station and sub-stations, and. the laying of new and additional feeder wires, distributers, and service mains in connection with such plant, station, and sub-stations. 2. That it being unable to provide the necessary funds for such work out of the ordinary revenue of tho City of Auckland proposes to borrow a sum of £225,000 for such purpose. 3. Thai, the proposed security for such Loan shall be the already existing Electric Power Plant and the extensions thereof and additions thereto, and the new sites and buildings when installed, acquired and constructed and the revenues derivable therefrom (subject to the payment out of such revenues of all expenses of working such plant) and the revenues of the City of Auckland (subject to the existing loans chargeable or secured on such respective revenues and property). - 4. That it proposes to make such Loan repayable in twenty-one years, and proposes to make provision for the payment of a sinkinc fund of £i,per cent., per annum. 5.
