Tho R. M.S. Malwa, the first of the magnificent P. and O. liners to visit New Zealand, arrived at Auckland on the morning of February 16, and. left at 6 p.m. of the same* day on her homeward voyage, her departure being witnessed by some 3000 people. She took 106 passengers from Auckland, and her outward cargo consisted of seven bars of bullion, valued at £7000, shipped by the National Bank, and five bars of gold,' valued at £20,000, shipped by tile Waihi Gold Mining Company.; She also took an Australian mail. .... . • r '■ - ' ■■. !'/,:.:
