'. • * - -•>! " ''. -..•-..■ Mr. Mander also asked the Minister whether he will instruct the engineer-in-chief :to supply him J (Mi*. Mander) with a correct plan of the authorised route of the railway, via Pukekaroro, on to Maungaturoto, -" and thence to '; the east •■■ of - the Tangihua Range, also the proposed deviation therefrom. The -Minister replied that .the present time no corrected scale plan of the railway line cither to the east or west of the Tangihua Range was available, consequently the request could not be acceded to.
