', MANUKAU ELECTORAL COUNCIL. At a representative meeting* of delegates,, held at Papakura, it was resolved, "That tho Manukau Electoral Council of the New Zealand Farmers' Union bo , formed." The following rules were adopted:—(a) All delegates to tho council must bo, and represent only, duly ; qualified voters of tho Manukau electorate. (b) The president, vice-president, secretary, and treasurer to be elected annually, the president to hold office for one year only.- (c) Seventy-fivo per cent, of the organising contributions to be applied to tho work of the council, (d) Branches shall contribute 6d per member annually for the use' of the council. Mr. M. B. Kirkbrido was elected president, Mr. Rollet vice-president, and Mr. J. S. Montgomerio secretary \ and ": ' treasurer. Branches are to ho formed at East Tamaki, Alfriston, Brookby, Papakura Valley, Pakurahga, Howick, Papatoctoc, Manurewa, Woodsidc, and Otahuhu:
