A SCENE OF CONFUSION.
An extraordinary scene of confusion resulted on board the Warrimoo at Wellington on Wednesday evening when the vessel berthed from Sydney (says the New Zealand Times). The Customs officers, in pursuance of their duty, were compelled to overhaul and examine the passengers' luggage anywhere about the vessel instead of in the examination shed on the wharf. Neither the Union Company, the Customs Department, nor the Harbour Board considered it their duty to have the examination shed opened.
