A FOOTBALL ACCIDENT.
£ LAD'S : CRITICAL CONDITION. [BY TELEGRAPH. OWN CORRESPONDENT. ■ ' Gisborne, Thursday. A lad named J. C. Lang, aged 17, is lying in a critical condition at the Gisburne.Hospital. The patient was admit■ted. on Monday, and on his being operated :, upon it was found that there was a, large clot of blood on the chest, brought about as the result of a kick. When playing football in the match Napier Cadets v. Gisborne 'Cadets, played last Saturday week, he received a kick to Which is attributed his present condition.
