The filly showed herself up in the light of a bargain directly, she was called upon to carry silk, as she captured the; Woodcoto Stakes of 930sovs at Epsom, and later on she won the'. Exeter Stakes of 670sovs at Newmarket," the Rous Memorial * Stakes of 118550v3 at Goodwood,.'and tho Hardwicke Stakes of 467sovs at Stockton. -'■'■' Mr. W. The King's filly i Prinoesso do Galles, who filled the , role'of runner-up -to Perola, was one of'the , star performers of last season's two-year-olds, her record being the brilliant one of four wins and two second* out of that number of starts. In the decision of tho One Thousand Guineas - at Newmarket last month Priueesse de Galles came, home second to Mr. L. Neumann's filly Electra, so that her record now stands at - four wins' and an equal number of seconds.
