HAULING DOWN THE FLAG. QUESTION IN THE COMMONS. By Telegraph.-Press Association.-Copyrlght. (Received March 3, 9.50 p.m.) London, March 3. Replying to Major W. AnstrutherGray in the House of Commons, Lieutenant-Colonel Seely (UnderSecretary for the Colonies) stated that the Government had received no report of any attempt by the natives to haul down the British flag in the Cook Islands. ' The New Zealand Government, he ,added, had ample power to deal with any such disturbances.
