PRISONERS SENTENCED.
[by telegraph.—press association.] Wellington, Thursday. In the Supreme Court to-day a German named William Richter, charged with breaking and entering at Dannevkke, was sentenced to 18 months' imprisonment. Edward Thomas Hughes, alias Saule, for forgery and uttering, was sentenced to 12 months' imprisonment.
