The annual display of the Tabernacle Gymnastic Club was given last evening in the presence of a largo audience in the Tabernacle schoolroom. A number of exercises were givon by squads of members, who went through a scries of evolutions on llio horizontal and parallel bars, and also manipulated tho dumb-bells and Indian clubs.- A number of musical items were given. ATHLETICS in public schools. [BY telegraph.—prkss ASSOCIATION.] Fkildinc, Tuesday. The Eeilding and District Public Schools' Amateur Athletic Association was formed. last night.. It will embhtco about 25 schools' in tho Wangnnui education district. The first annual sports gathering is to bo held, in February next.
