CARGO PILLAGERS.
TWELVE MONTHS' IMPRISONMENT. [BY TELEGRAPH.— ASSOCIATION.] , ;>' Naples, Monday. In the Magistrate's Court to-day Eugene Boss and John Harris were convicted of having stolen cargo of the value of £25 from the steamer Tomoana. The prisoners, who deserted here, were arrested in Wellington with some of the stolen goods in their possession. The magistrate stated that this class of offence must be put down with 1 a firm hand, and he ; imposed a sentence of 12 months' imprisonment., \ . It was stated during the hearing . that within the past five years the Tyser Company had paid £5110 on claims for loss by pillage. :Si
