The sister in the darkness made good her escape, but, Mr. Dye was • overwhelmed and carried a prisoner into the convent; where he was'kept in durance until the authorities found the sister at the Kiel Hotel. She yielded to their stern commands, and accompanied them back io the convent. M'r. Dye was then released Immediately he obtained a habeas corpus and the assistance of a police officer, ind rescued his bride. The couple made their way across to Omaha, and were married. The convent authorities say that Sister Geneva, had not definitely taken the veil at the time of her flight.
