The champion of champions match will bo commenced at the Rocky Nook green this morning at. nine o'clock, the first and second rounds starting simultaneously." It is hoped that the match will be finished before the close of the day. The Auckland Provincial Bowling Association has decided to hold a social evening on the 27th inst. in the Royal Albert Hall, at which a presentation of prizes, won at the recent Easter tournament, . will take place. The prizes will be presented by tho Mayoress (Mrs. A. M. Myers). Tho Mayor will also attend the function. Tho evening will be devoted to euchre and musical items. -'. INTER-CLUB MATCHES. Remuera and Devonport will play a threerink inter-club match to-day at Devonport at two p.m.:—The following will represent the Remuera Ciub:East, Cochrane, Dingwall, Sanderson (skip) ; Lennox, McFarlane, Mahonev, Garland (skip); C. The team of Dominion bowlers which successfully toured Australia arrived in Napier this morning, and were welcomed by the Mayor. A match was played on the Napier Club's green botween the visitors and a team picked from the local clubs. The playproved highly interesting, and victory rested with the Napier players by 22 points.
