MEETINGS.
TABERNACLE .SUNDAY-SCHOOL JUBILEE. No more popular gathering in connection with the Tabernacle Sunday-school jubilee has been held than that of last evening, when the "monster" tea and entertainment took place. This was the scholars' special night, and a, great number of young folk, with their parents and friends, attended. -long and varied programme was gone through, contributed to almost exclusively by the scholars and. teachers of the school. The children of the Hemuera Home' were present by. invitation, and rendered an action song. Mr. Andrews, the superintendent, presided, and was supported by the pastor, Rev. .). K. Kempton. Throughout the celebrations all the members of the school have been wearing the jubilee medal specially struck for the occasion. The medals, over 500 in number, were the gift of two gentlemen. The series of meetings closes to-night-, with a praise and communion service, at which' a number of cablegrams from distant parts will be read.
