FEDERATION OF LABOUR.
[BY TELEGRAPH.—PRESS ASSOCIATION*.] BiiNEuisr, Friday. At a meeting of the Trades and Labour Council hist evening the principle of the federation of labour was affirmed. A resolution was passed expressing the opinion that the proposal of the Waikato Miners' Union wasaetepin the right direction, and had the ■ approval of the Council, which, however, recommended the constitution adopted at the Trades Conference to the favourable consideration of the unions.
