London, August 21. The Countess of Buchan's bag, containing £3000 worth of jewellery, has been stolen at the Euston (London) station of the London and NorthWestern Railway Company. MAIL BAGS STOLEN. New York, August 21. Mail bags, containing £50,000 worth of valuables, have been stolen from a train on the BurlingtonQuincy railroad. THIEVES AND CHLOROFORM. \ Lonjqon, August 21. Burglars chloroformed the sleeping inmates at a branch post office at Stoke-on-Trent and stole a considerable amount of cash and jewellery.
