Hayward was dismissed without scoring, and Tyldesley made only eight runs. C. B. Fry and H. L. Foster added 86 (Foster 51). At the close of the play the score stood at seven wickets for 226. Fry is not out for 108. (Received August 22, 1.17 a.m.) London, August 21. A thunderstorm delayed the test match to-day. Fry scored 129 runs, and Tilley 42, the Englishmen's firs? innings closing with a total of 295. South Africa lost five 'wickets for 149, S. J. Snooke contributing 63 runs. TEAM FOR AUSTRALIA. London, August 20. Hobbs, of Surrey, has joined the Marylebone team for Australia.
