BOY'S DRAMATIC ACT.

SHOOTS HIMSELF WITH A TOY PISTOL. [BY telegraph.—press association.] Palmerston Xortit, Wednesday. A boy named Sydney Carson, aged 13 years, shot himself in the head with a toy pistol this morning. Death ensued some hours later, and an inquest will be held tomorrow. It appears that lie had a dispute with an elder brother about the pistol, and, when his father subsequently demanded possession of it, the boy, it is stated, placed it to his forehead and fired.
