Snow is lying lower down on the hills than it has done for the past two winters. Farmers who were in town to-day say thatmore rain is needed. At a meeting of the rain-making committee held this morning, it was decided to continue the rain induction experiments, and that at the next trial several stations should be worked simultaneously.
