Timaru, Thursday. The Timaru Main School Committee tonight discussed a circular Fiom the Wellington Citizens' Bible-in-Schools Committee, and resolved, "That this committee agrees to the reading of the Bible in State schools, but does not approve of the restriction of the teaching members of the staff only." There were two dissentients, the Rev. A. £. Hunt (chairman) being one.
