(Received July 3, 11.50 p.m.)
London, July 3. The Jockey Club has withdrawn the prohibition against. R. S. Sievier, formerly of Australia, from access to Newmarket Heath, and he intends to resume racing. .-, ...,.-;
Robert Sievier's name, it will be remembered, was prominently before the public a. year or two ago, in connection with alleged malpractices. He brought a slander action against Sir James Duke, and was subsequently arrested on a charge of perjury. He was, however, discharged, the magistrate remarking that he could not convict on the evidence. Sievier was warned off Newmarket. He has always been a prominent follower of the turf.
