MAN BURNED TO DEATH.

[BY TELEGRAPH.— I'RESS ASSOCIATION.] New Plymouth, Tuesday. An old man named Jas. Grimes was burned to death at Urenui last night. He was living in a small cottage, belonging to the Clifton County Council, which, in some unknown manner, caught fire and was destroyed. Grimes was apparently in bed, and was overcome before he could make his escape.
