DISTINGUISHED OTAGO GRADUATES.

At a meeting of the Professorial Hoard of the University of Otago it was decided, " That the Professorial Board heartily congratulate the two distinguished Otago graduates, Hon. Dr. Findlay .(AttorneyGeneral) and Mr. Saul Solomons, on their appointment as King's Counsel ;" also, '"That the Professorial Board express its deep regret at the early death of Dr. Milne (one of the most distinguished of the graduates of the. Otago University) and its warm appreciation of the great services he had rendered to university education as a lecturer on jurisprudence from 1893 to 1901 and as member of the Senate of the New Zealand University from 1892 to 1901, and that the Board expresses its sincere sympathy with the relatives of *'■>* late i^MUne^i.
