The case of the Wellington Labourers' Union v. the Huddart-Parker ' Steamship Company came before the Arbitration Court ?v?'-.;.;t0-day, in the form of an application for en- . forcement of the award. It was stated that an -awagl made on November 23 stipulated that there was to be a supper hour. ,■ p-P;]ii':[ti is alleged that on June 2 men worked ■ at the steamer Wimmera from six p.m. till -past twelve a.m., and from one a.m. - • to halfrpast one a.m. on June 3 without a break. . It was argued, on behalf of the company, that the section did not forbid working through meal hours, but that men so engaged should be paid overtime. The Court reserved its decision. , '.\' ■
