On the Waihi howling green yesterday a match was played for the " Waihi Roosters." the holders of the trophies being beaten by 10 points. .The scores are as follows: — Holders— Davis, J. Murray, B. Vercoe, D. Herd (skip)—l2, v. Challengers— Williams, J'. Evans, W. Lloyd, W. Samson (skip)— CYCLING. ONEHUNGA TOURING CLUB. The members ; of the above club recently arranged to bring off a 10-mile road race for the valuable. Pardy cup, but owing to the police refusing to sanction road racing, the event had to be postponed. In order to overcome the difficulty, the committee net and decided to bring off the race next Saturday.on Mr. Charles Baker's training tracK at Mangere. Owing to the difference in the track, the time handicap has been recast and altered to yards, whilo the event will bo decided in heats. ' The handicaps are as follows:—First • heat: O.
